I had a conversation recently with a client that she said was so helpful to her, that I wanted to share it with our podcast listeners too!
We talked about the fact that life is 50% positive emotion and 50% negative emotion, but that most of us were taught to ignore or repress any of our negative emotions. This turns out to be a real problem, especially for those of us on a weight loss journey, because until we learn to accept - and perhaps even celebrate - our negative emotions, we will continue to work very hard to buffer them with food or alcohol or some other escape.
Today Marchelle and I dive more deeply into this idea that life is 50:50… and explain how to accept and manage our very human emotional lives.
